The tier 2/3 Higher Education college students in India face significant difficulties in accessing their basic learning resources (the study material itself). Problems include multiple rudimentary fragmented ways of studying e.g. borrowed notes, dated books, poorly stacked libraries, under qualified or no professors in many courses, poorly managed infrastructure, cheap learning guide books and many more. About 90% higher education students in India belong to tier 2/3 colleges. The same students have again very low or no access to good skilling programs and mentorships from the industry. Thereby their job-readiness and employability tends to be very low. On a single platform, Target Startup is a) Delivering accessible, convenient & affordable quality content to college students of tier 2/3 college students in India to go through the course and all related examinations b) Building skill based programs, aimed at the job market, through a hybrid model comprising a combination of offline + online; skill building + mentorship + internship for its students Target Startup is the only EdTech platform in India that makes higher education convenient and accessible for tier 2/3 college students and helps them progress from academics to career.
