Foogle Private Limited (Brand Zepper) is a StartUp recognized under "StartUp India" Program which recognizes StartUps for Innovation and Social Impact. This program gives loads of other benefits like 3 year Tax holiday, Relief from Capital Gains Tax for Investors, Access to Govt. resources, etc.

  • Problem Statement:

Today, there is no organized way of ordering Home cooked Multi cuisine Quality food. Customers use local community groups on WhatsApp and Telegram to painfully find, order, co-ordinate and pick up Home cooked food. Other alternative to Ordering outside food is from Restaurants which have perceived Quality issues.

Many Housewives are passionate in Cooking Signature dishes from their own Cuisines. There is no way to systematically monetize and scale it.

Zepper will organize the sector of Home Chefs, give housewives a way to monetize their cooking passion and provide Customers a simple way to order and enjoy diverse cuisine.

 

  • Solution:

Zepper (www.zepper.co.in) is an innovative Food Discovery and Delivery Platform which has curated regional Cuisines and Signature dishes within respective Cuisines. These dishes are cooked by our expert Home Chefs within their homes with great love and quality consciousness.

Customers looking to skip Cooking at home or want to avoid Restaurant food can now discover, order, and get Home Cooked Food delivered to enjoy a Signature dish from their Favourite regional Cuisine.

Zepper will work with Home Chefs to standardize Cuisines, Dishes and Pricing and list it on the App. Customer can also order semi-perishable items from the Platform.

 

  • Target Market:

Target market is people living in Metro cities, majorly upper middle class, families looking to skip cooking at home so that they have more family and fun time instead of Kitchen time; nuclear families, DINK (Double Income No Kids) couples, migrant students and white-collar working professionals who prefer to order online for their daily food.

For Customer Acquisition, we will use both Online and Offline Marketing. For Online, we will use Social-Media, Food Bloggers and Cooking videos of our Home Chefs.

For Offline Marketing, we will organize and/or participate in various Field Events within the Communities.

 

  • Competitive advantage/Unique Selling Proposition (USP):

Competitive advantage is the early mover advantage in organizing the HomeChef market. Currently there are no Food platforms connecting and organizing the network of Home Chefs to give Customers a real alternative to Restaurant food.

Today Home Chef business is done on a small scale through un-organized, ad-hoc way of searching for Dishes, Offline payments, Self-Collection and a lack of Consistency in terms of visibility of available Cuisines, Dishes and their Prices.

All Chefs and Customer in a Pin code would be tagged as One Zep Code. Zep Code philosophy makes this a Community sustained event. Number of Zep Codes can be scaled.

 

  • Revenue Model:

From the Supply side, Zepper will source each dish at a discounted rate of up-to 10% from the Onboarded Chefs. Chefs get support in FSAAI Licence, Digital platform, Marketing and ever-growing Customer base through a reliable and convenient Order chain. In absence of Zepper, Chefs have to organize entire Supply chain which distracts from their actual Talent which is Cooking excellent dishes.

From the Demand side, Platform will bake in charges of 15-20% on each Dish when selling the Dish to the Customer. Customers get the convenience of finding, ordering, and getting Signature dishes delivered to their Doorstep.
