Vasco Ore Carriers has been in operation since 1995 and is a company which owns barges involved in the transportation of ore from mines to the bulk shipping carriers. Currently has 2 barges under its operation namely MV Shakti (MRH 609) & MV Bhakti (MRH 595). Since 2012, there has been a scaled down demand for mining operations due to environmental measures enforced by the Government of Goa, where these barges are located. The Government of Goa is now intending to open up the mining operations and for which it is important that Vasco Ore Carriers that they have the barges overhauled, repaired ,up and running. (Please see link below) The requirement is for INR 1 crore and a basic summary of P/L is attached and the working capital break up is provided.
